If you couldn’t tell, I like Kenny from the Block. Self made businessman, adrenaline junkie that makes stuff happen.
Well, him and Rob Dyrdek did some more driving work, posted on Youtube.
Make sure to take a small break from your NYE festivities to watch Travis Pastrana attempt to jump a rally car off a pier onto a floating barge tonight, as the clock winds down on 2009.
It is sure to be ridiculous.

Have a happy new year everybody!

Thought I would make the first post a big one. I have been pining for this bike for a week.
This beauty was fasioned by Daniel Delfour, who apparently was a violin maker. If indeed he was, the care and attention to detail it requires to craft a wooden instrument is reflected in this bike.
It is the epitome of minimalist form. The leather snaps on the tank that sits inside the frame rails, DTX brake-less front, monochromatic scheme, and lines that remind me of the original Vincent Black shadow make it the most attractive motorbike I’ve ever laid eyes on.
Check out some more photos on BikeEXIF’s facebook photo album.
Also, if you like this bike, check out Daniel’s Commando labeled “Ala’Verda“.
I am going to post on this blog once a day for a year.
I swear. It’s true.
I will post about anything I feel, which is usually of the visually attractive persuasion: motorcycles, cars, photographs, technology…hell even, snowboards, winter gear…and of course the occasional woman. So…get ready…first post tomorrow.
P.S.: I like ellipses.

Thanks for looking!
Roland Sands can put other custom bike builders to shame with his built-for-the-track bikes. Not only is he a great bike builder, but a great racer, with many AMA 250GP wins and more in Britain. My favorite is his CR500 super single that he built amidst the 450 moto project for the spec WERA class. I’ve been combing the internets for pictures with more detail, but it looks to be a the obvious CR500 motor in a 1997-99 Honda CR250R frame, with a CBR600 Ohlins front end, and custom Ohlins shock, probably a supermoto shock. Please let me know what other bits and pieces you can name!
